Productivity Promotion Organizations: Evolution and Experience

This publication attempts to look into the evolution of the productivity movement and national productivity organizations; the changes in their roles, activities, organizational structures, future prospects and the main reasons behind them. It is based on contributions from the main authors and the ILO’s experience during the last 50 years in supporting countries in productivity promotion as an important factor to poverty alleviation, economic growth, and improving the quality of life.
