Bio:

Dr. Brian Marson is a professor in the Public Management Development Program, Development Academy of the Philippines, and international advisor to OECD, Paris, France and the APO in Tokyo. He is also President of the Public Service Excellence Institute of Canada, and co-founder and Senior Fellow of the Institute for Citizen Centred Service in Canada. Previously he served as National President of the Institute of Public Administration of Canada, and a Board member of the National Quality Institute and the Canada awards for excellence (Excellence Canada), Until 2010 he was Senior Advisor, Service Transformation, Government of Canada. He holds graduate degrees in Economics, Government and Public Administration from Harvard University and served as a Research Associate at Harvard University’s Center for International Affairs. As a result of his teaching, writing and his leadership in promoting citizen-centered service and publis service excellence, Brian Marson has become well known across the public sector in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the United States and Europe for his advocacy of excellence in public management and public service.
